REVENUE SHARING CREATOR GUIDE

TABLE OF CONTENTS

INTRODUCTION

Exciting news for content creators! Revenue sharing is now available for members of the MY.GAMES Content Creator Program.

The MY.GAMES Content Creator Program already has some great benefits including earning rewards & resources, participating in exclusive events and access to the teams behind the games. But now we've partnered with Affise to bring this new opportunity to creators. With revenue sharing, you’ll be able to earn more from your content and collaborations with MY.GAMES.

It’s important to note that on March 11, we will be launching the MY.GAMES revenue sharing beta therefore some creators may experience some issues. In the event that any issues occur, please reach out to our staff and we will work to resolve them as quickly as we can.

In this guide, you will learn how to enroll in revenue sharing, how revenue sharing works and how to get your earned revenue.

HOW REVENUE SHARING WORKS

The MY.GAMES Revenue Sharing program is very simple. Creators will receive a percentage of the revenue from sales on the MY.GAMES Market when players use your unique “creator code” during the purchase.

Each game has their own unique set up for revenue sharing in regards to how much revenue is shared with creators. Furthermore, the eligibility requirements for joining the Revenue Sharing program is also unique to each game. In some cases, creators must reach a certain rank in the Content Creator Program before they can join revenue sharing. In other cases, the amount of revenue shared is based on the creator’s rank in the Creator Program.

For example, War Robots: Frontiers revenue sharing is set up so:

  1. Creators will receive 25% of each purchase for two months (starting March 12th).
  2. Revshare is applicable only for the PC version of the game (console versions will be supported later).
  3. All creators are eligible to participate in revenue sharing.

MY.GAMES Market

The MY.GAMES Market is where players can purchase a large variety of items for all MY.GAMES games. This includes item packs/bundles, currencies and more.

Everything on the market is eligible for revenue sharing!

When a player makes a purchase from the Market, they will have the option to “Support a Creator”.

(MY.GAMES Market - User Information)

Upon selecting this option, the player will be prompted to enter your unique creator code.

(MY.GAMES Market - Support a Creator)

Revenue from all purchases made on the MY.GAMES Market when the player enters your Creator code will be shared with you!

Your Creator Code & Creator Link

Your Creator code is your unique code that players must enter when they make a purchase on the MY.GAMES Market in order for you to receive revenue from that purchase. What your unique Creator code will be is up to you because you will set it up as part of creating your Affise account.

To make revenue sharing as simple as possible we have provided a link that when used, will automatically apply your creator code in the MY.GAMES Market. This way, all a player needs to do is select your Creator Link and make their purchase. Note: You may use a link shortening service to shorten your Creator Link.

Your unique link can be found in the game’s Dashboard in the Revenue Sharing section.

Promoting Your Creator Link

Promoting your Creator Link is very important! The more effort you put into promoting, the more potential revenue you can earn. That’s why it’s so important that you continually promote your Creator Link in all your streams, videos and on your socials. You can find some tips for promoting your link in this guide.
